Our final update for November is a particularly exciting one for us. We've got the first of our custom creator brush packs, a new brush setting, and a couple of changes to your Art Jams page. Let's dive in…
Custom Creator Brush Packs

As we expand our creator economy program on Magma, we are now developing custom brush packs with selected artists. The first of those is Orb, a YouTuber and self-taught artist with an impressive fanbase. Since videos like Drawing strangers on Magma, Orb's followers have hosted many a fanart jam in Magma. So, we're excited to bring something new for them to create with and introduce others to this colourful creator.

These brushes are designed exclusively for Magma and available to you for free. Spot the banner in your brush list along with a new brush category. Test them out and be sure to follow Orb's Magma profile while you're at it.
Changes:
Orb brush pack now available in your brush list to purchase for free.
Pixelation Brush setting
We're putting a lot of work into our brush engine at the moment so that we can support more creator brush packs like Orb's and to give you more customization options. This means we will have more brush settings coming your way over the coming months.
For now, we already have one new one for you. Introducing: pixelation.

The Pixelation setting is the anti-aliasing toggle for your brush. When you zoom into a normal brush stroke, you notice that edges often have some semi-transparent pixels to help smooth it in with the background. When you turn on Pixelation, the edge is much harder with each pixel filled to you chosen opacity level.

This setting is great for those making pixel art in Magma and we'd love to hear about your experience with it.
Changes:
Advanced Brush Setting: added Pixelation toggle in Brush Tip Shape section
Art Jams update

You may have noticed that the Art Jams section looks a little different. We've streamlined things a bit and moved the different Art Jam areas to tabs on a single page. The info block at the top can now be dismissed to free up some extra space too.

We've also removed the Genre section and instead added tags to make it easier to find the most popular types of Art Jams such as #free drawing, #ocs and #drawing bases. You can tap on these to use as a filter.

Changes:
Removed Art Jam genres;
Added tags filtering functionality;
Made info panel dismissable.
Bug Fixes
As usual, our engineering team is working hard to fix any bugs and issues found on the platform. Thank you to everyone who has reported bugs to us. Here's what we got this time:
various chat fixes;
Fix importing sequence of files;
Fix checker pattern on multiboards;
As always, let us know what you think — feel free to send us your Feature Requests, reach out to us on Discord or send us a message.
