Artspaces keep getting better! We have another new release for you this week to upgrade your Artspaces with its own Feed and Gallery. We want Artspaces to be the hub for your creative communities and fandoms, and we have more planned for them. Read on for details about our latest release…
Artspace Feed and Gallery
Much like your own profile, you’ll now be able to post to the new Artspace Posts or Gallery pages, letting you share specific things with members and non-members alike. Show off what your artspace community did together in their last hangout with the wider Magma community by setting the post visibility to Public. This way it will be discoverable on your Artspace profile and in the Homepage for all to see.
If your Artspace is more of a private community, you can instead set your posts to Internal. It will only appear for members in their own Feed pages, and the Feed page inside your Artspace.
You will also notice that the Create a Post modal now gives you the option to post to your own feed or choose to share to any Artspace where you have posting permissions.
Artspace Feed Permissions
With these new features, of course we needed new permissions for your Artspace too. When you go to your settings and adjust the roles, you’ll find the newly-added Feed category.
In the Feed permissions, you can allow a user with the given role to create, edit, and delete posts. You can also allow them to change the visibility of posts to be visible to non-members through your Posts or Gallery pages.

Bux fixes and improvements
As usual, our engineering team is working hard to fix any bugs and issues found on the platform. While we aim to catch bugs before new features are released, some can sneak through. Thank you to everyone who reports these issues to us. Here are some of the improvements we've made recently:
better indicators for unread messages in Artspace chat channels;
allowed sending more than 12k Mags for custom commission rewards;
fixed not being able to DM after aceepting message requets until reload;
fixed duplicate shortcut error appearing when trying to customize shortcuts and toolbar;
and a few other behind-the-scenes things…
