Welcome to our first update for August. We're still abuzz with excitement from the release of our Creator Economy in the last update and have been chatting with creators about ways to make this even better for them. While we build on that, we are also working on a few other helpful features and squishing bugs along the way. This month we have another highly-requested one arriving in Magma:

Transform Tool Modes

We've upgraded the Transform tool with a few new modes. Many of you had requested free transform to be able to distort selections to fit into scenes or do some photobashing. When selecting the Transform tool, you'll now see the following in the settings panel on the right:

  • Scale: this is the standard pinch and stretch mode;

  • Skew: moves only one side;

  • Perspective: for pinching or stretching one side;

  • and Distort: adjust each corner individually;

Bug fixes and other updates

As always, there are bugs sneaking around that we try to fix with each update. Thank you to all who report these issues to us and help to improve the Magma experience:

  • Fixed issue with black thumbnails issue on some art jams;

  • Fixed negative followers number, and don’t allow to follow oneself;

  • Fixed Post Selection taking very long time on some canvases and Art Jams;

  • Fix magma plan icon size in user profile

  • Fix comments not moving for other users when user moves it

As always, feel free to send us your Feature Requests in Magma to let us know. If you have any questions, reach out to us on Discord or send us a message.
