Welcome to our first update for March. We hope you’ve had a good week so far and we’re excited to share two new brush-related things with you. The first is the additon of the Texture setting for your brush, and then two new Creator Brushpacks by Dem4gog! Read on for more details…
Texture brush setting

For our team working on drawing tools, the focus has been on bringing more texture possibilities to your brush. With some new tip shapes and dual brush done, the next big thing to tackle was the texture setting. We actually we snuck it into your Advanced brush settings a couple of weeks ago. So, in case you missed it, be sure to check it out.

The texture setting adds a pattern to your brush stroke. We have a handful of different patterns to choose from, and from there you can adjust the depth, scale, contrast, or even add it to each stamp of the brush. Combine this with the dual brush setting and you can get some really unique combinations for textured brushes.
New Creator Brushpacks

We’ve had a great time working with different creators who have really challenged us to step our brush engine. The texture setting was crucial to support the latest sets of brushes from another great Magma Creator: Dem4gog.
Dem4gog, also known as 44404 on the canvas, is a hobbyist illustrator and graphic designer working in a semi-realistic style. He's an active member of the member of the Magma community, hosting regular themed and study Art Jams, and also one of our beta testers! He brings two new brush sets for you:
44404 Stencils
This is a free pack with a total of 13 stamp brushes for things like chains, brainds, and scales.

44404 Personal
This pack is an exciting one with a range of 11 brushes including ink ones, dry marker, dry paint, and even Chinese watercolour.

Find the new brushes in your brush list. Scroll down in your list to find the free one. or go straight to Dem4gog's page.
