Hello everyone! Welcome to the launch of Magma’s new User Galleries! To celebrate, we’re hosting a community challenge with $170 in prizes up for grabs!

It’s been a while since we first showcased it, but now that it’s out, we’re looking to see some fantastic art on our platform. To participate, please see the rules below!

The challenge will end at 12:00 pm CET on April 28th, 2025! Make sure to submit your entries before the deadline!

Contest Details:

• The purpose of this contest is to showcase amazing art pieces by Magma’s community.

• There is no fee to enter the Contest.

• There is no theme: draw what you are comfortable with!

• By entering this contest, you grant Magma the right to use your submitted work in promotional materials, including emails, social media posts, and other marketing efforts. You will be credited wherever your work is featured. When we announce the winners, we want to include their work in our emails notifying our Magma users of the event.

• By entering this contest, the entrants agree to be bound by the submission guidelines set out below.

How to win?

• By the end of these two weeks, whoever’s artwork has the most likes on Magma wins first place.
  The piece with the second most likes on Magma wins second place, and the piece with the third most likes on Magma wins third place. Likes given after the submission deadline will not be counted.

• Submissions may be disqualified if the rules below are not followed.

Awards:

• 1st Place (Most amount of likes): $100

• 2nd Place (Second most amount of likes): $50

• 3rd Place (Third most amount of likes): $20

Eligibility:

1. Minimum age to participate is 13 years old. Participants aged 13 to 18 must have parent or guardian approval to enter.

2. Entrants 18+ can directly receive prize payouts. Entrants under 18 must have an adult or guardian handle the prize payout on their behalf.

How to Enter?

1. Post one image that you’re confident will get likes on your Magma public profile. You can submit one of two things: either a piece from your artdesk or an artjam that you own (artjams that you only participated in will be disqualified). If multiple entries are submitted, you will be disqualified.

   1. If the image that you post has multiple collaborators, you must ask for permission from the collaborators to submit it to the competition.

2. Share your work on X or Bluesky using a link to your Magma Gallery post with the hashtag #magmaartcontest, and tag and follow us on X @magma_com or on Bluesky @magma-com.bsky.social.

3. Submit your art to the competition via this link.

Delivery of Prizes:

1. Prize payouts will be made to adults (18+) via Stripe Connect in alignment with Stripe’s Terms of Use.

2. For prize recipients not eligible for Stripe Connect, an alternative of Huuray gift card with identical value will be offered.

3. Prizes cannot be shipped to winners residing in countries or regions subject to ongoing U.S. sanctions, and those residing in countries not covered by Stripe Connect and/or Huuray Terms of Use. Affected winners will be notified individually.

4. Winners who fail to provide the necessary shipping & billing details will lose eligibility for the prize.

Additional Rules:

1. Magma reserves the right to disqualify entries suspected of violating the rules or artificially inflating engagement. Final decisions will be made at the discretion of the Magma team.

2. The Contest is not open to companies, educational institutions, organizations, etc. or to groups associated with such institutions.

3. Staff, Board members, and their immediate family are not eligible to enter the Contest.

4. All submitted work must be 100% drawn on Magma without the use of third-party platforms or AI.

5. All submitted work must be original and not based on any pre-existing artworks or copyrighted characters.

6. All submitted work must not include 18+ or other inappropriate and/or inflammatory content. Interpretation of what falls into the above category is in the sole discretion of contest organizer.

7. All submitted work must not be subject to foul play (creating fake accounts to like the post, harassing other users, etc.).
