Magma goes social! It’s been a long time coming but at last, the Magma Feed is available to all users!
Now you can stay up-to-date with new drawings, events, and activities from the artists that you follow here. We want Magma to be the creative home for artists; a place to meet, draw, and collaborate. Following the Profile and Gallery features, the Feed was naturally the next thing to add.

About the Magma Feed

Here’s all you need to know about this new feature in your dashboard:
You can view your Feed in your Artdesk area;
When people you follow create new gallery posts, share links, reposts, or simple text updates, they will appear in your Feed;
For now, when you post something, it will not appear on your Feed, but instead in the Posts page of your profile;
There are two tabs: Following and Discover. If you’re not following anyone yet, you can see some posts from the Magma community that have been recommended by our team;
You can grow your network by checking out the recommended and recently-drawn-with profiles that appear in your Feed.
Thank you to our awesome team of beta testers as well as the our early-access users. We’ve been looking at all of your feedback and making some improvements.
See more about the Feed in our user guide.

More updates
While we are adding these social features, we are also improving various other things about the product and patching some bugs:
Added shortcuts in Application Settings for brush rottion;
Pressure sensitivity toggle for brush opacity released to beta testers;
Fixed pagination in live canvases list;
Fixed transform box not aligned to pixels after "fit" and "cover";
Fixed forced page refreshing when creating new brush with non-unique name;
Fixed text tool throwing errors when using auto-width text area and selected fonts;
As always, feel free to send us your Feature Requests in Magma to let us know. If you have any questions, reach out to us on Discord or send us a message.
