We have another round of exciting updates for you this week. Following user feedback regarding Super Simple Mode, we've updated it so you can have multiple panels open at once. Furthermore, to increase the visibility of comments, we've updated it so comments are also sent in the chat of canvases.

Super Simple Mode panels

Since the release of Super Simple Mode, we've heard feedback that users might want changes regarding how it is set up. After some internal changes, we've released an update that makes it so you can have multiple panels open at the same time.

For those tight on drawing space, we hope this change can make drawing better on Magma! Furthermore, with those of you with ads, please let us know if this helps any UI or performance issues - we are still diving into them and are trying to get them fixed as soon as possible.

Changes:

  • Super Simple Mode Windows: Opening one window does not close another. Each of the Super Simple Mode panels can be open simultaneously and positioned independently.

Integrated Comments

Alongside the above update, we are also streamlining a few things in preparation for big chat updates to come. Specifically, when commenting on a drawing using the comment tool, the comment will also be shown in the drawing's chat.

Changes:

  • Comment Tool: When commenting on a drawing, the first comment of a thread will also be posted in the chat of the drawing.

Bug Fixes

As usual, our engineering team is working hard to fix any bugs and issues found on the platform. Thank you to everyone who has reported bugs to us. Here's what we got this time:

  • Fix displaying billing information incorrectly when trial or discount code is applied

  • Add hover statessome elements in signup flow

  • fixed scrolling layers panel

  • fixed autosaving to Version History

As always, let us know what you think — feel free to send us your Feature Requests, reach out to us on Discord or send us a message.
