Hello everyone! The moment you've been waiting for…

Thank you all so much for your interest in Magma and Wacom's In the Depths Competition! We've tallied up the results for the competition, and we are finally ready to announce the winners!

If you participated, thank you for participating! It was great to see what you came up with! If you did not, we still hope you have a good time looking at the winning entries!

It was a really close judging process, but ultimately, only 3 teams could take home the prize.

The results are in! Congratulations to our three winners; give them all a follow!

First Place:

@Likewise and @Kun

Second Place:

@Yza@K1n, and @ZANE!!!

Third Place:

@Ferro_nimo@Atev, and @Jib

Community vote:

And as for your community prize winner... give it up for @Wens@Adélaïde Zwahlen, and @lydiascottart!

Compared to last season, the competition also got a lot fiercer. Across all three judges, the following pieces also made it to our personal top 3 scores, so we had to shout them out as well.

For all of the honourable mentions below, we wanted to say that you had an excellent showing - your pieces were absolutely gorgeous, and we had a tough time deciding on the winners.

Check out their profiles and pieces below!

@Dyeh@Vatess, and @sa_mecha: Add Your Character: In the Depths!

@Mar and @MarvinMakesArt: Down in the Depths

@CaptainBee and @Myri: Exploring the Depths

And following close behind in our personal top 4s:

@NikoTIM and @Skimimon: Abyssal Bloom

@Zwennart@pupun444ik and @H.Bird: Depths of Our Society

Thank you all so much for competing! This was a blast, and we are already looking forward to hosting the next one!

Once again, big thanks to Wacom for sponsoring this competition! The global leader in digital pen and tablet technology, Wacom tools are trusted by artists, designers, animators, and illustrators in studios, classrooms, and at home. With pressure-sensitive pens, multitouch gestures, and customizable shortcuts, Wacom helps you bring ideas to life faster and more intuitively.

Please do follow our judges for this competition as well! We were blown away by your pieces and it was truly a challenge!

As always, feel free to send us your Feature Requests in Magma to let us know. If you have any questions, reach out to us on Discord or send us a message.

Have a good weekend ahead! 🌪
