We are Magma, the first all-in-one collaboration platform for digital creativity. Think of us as a blend of Google Docs, Photoshop, Discord, and Roblox, engineered for an era where remote collaboration and community-driven art are central. As the demand for visual content surges, industries like gaming and animation struggle to keep pace. Magma tackles these challenges by placing community and collaboration at the heart of the creative process, enabling individuals and AAA studios alike to create and manage art more efficiently.
With over 3 million registered users (and 70,000 daily active users), Magma streamlines artistic workflows with advanced design and project management tools. We’re venture-backed, guided by an experienced founding team and top-tier advisors, and our vision is to unlock creativity for all. Our approach has even prompted some to call us a potential “Instagram killer,” given our focus on real-time, visible collaboration that merges creation, community, and discovery.
About the Team
We are a globally distributed, tight-knit group of Techstars startup veterans, developers, product designers, artists, support advocates, and community managers—all driven by collaborative workflows, digital art, gamification, innovation, and community building. We work asynchronously across South-East Asia, Europe, and North America to shape Magma’s direction, new features, and integrations. Our advisors bring invaluable industry expertise:
Andrew Reese – ex-Miro, ex-Canva, scaled Miro commercially from its early days
Dan Sturman – ex-CTO of Roblox
Michel Bessner – ex-CEO of Toon Boom Animation
If you’re excited about owning the entire go-to-market motion—from sales to partnerships and community growth—this team is for you.

Who We’re Looking For
You’ll thrive in this role if:
You’re a self-starter who excels in an early-stage, dynamic environment—comfortable wearing multiple hats and adapting quickly.
You have a track record in sales, business development, or GTM roles, especially in SaaS or creative tech domains.
You love building relationships and negotiating deals, whether with individual artists or enterprise-level decision-makers.
You’re comfortable with ambiguity and can pivot your strategy based on real-time market feedback.
You’re data-driven, measuring results, learning from analytics, and optimizing processes accordingly.
You empathize with creative teams—you’re at ease talking to artists, project managers, and tech leads alike.
Who We’re Not Looking For
Pure Order-Takers: If you expect a 100% scripted approach with minimal initiative, this role won’t suit you.
Minimal Collaboration: We need someone who proactively communicates and works cross-functionally. If you prefer solo missions, this isn’t your place.
Rigid Specialists: We’re a startup; you’ll have to pivot and adapt regularly. If you need a narrowly defined, unchanging role, look elsewhere.
Short-Term Mindset: We value building genuine relationships and strategic partnerships—quick wins at the expense of customer success won’t fly here.

Growth Opportunities: Shape the GTM strategy of a rapidly scaling product, influencing everything from sales frameworks to pricing models
